Dear Colleague,
The theme of this special issue is "Disaster Risk Assessment, Modelling and Management". Including natural disasters and man-made natural disasters. Disaster risk assessment is the analysis and assessment of hazard factors and vulnerabilities that may bring potential threats or harm to human life, property, livelihood and the environment in exposed communities located in the disaster area, and then determine the nature, scope and loss of the disaster. Disaster risk assessment is the process of quantifying probabilistic damage. Now, Prevention and Treatment of Natural Disasters is accepting manuscripts for a special issue containing innovative ideas, applications and management strategies for natural disaster risk assessment, modelling and management. Paper submissions related to the technology, science and applications of disaster risk reduction are encouraged (considering some of the effects of disaster risk reduction, especially global warming and climate change, population expansion, urban growth, and large-scale migration from rural to urban areas), which can include geo sensor networks , internet of things, cloud computing, volunteered geospatial/geographic Information (VGI) and other geospatial indication and computer communities as some hot topics. At the same time, attach great importance to the application and construction of geospatial information system (GIS)and remote sensing technology.(Electronic call for papers)
Deadline for manuscript submissions: 30th March 2023.
