Topical Collection Information:

Dear Colleagues,

New energy has been rapidly developed and attention has been attracted in recent years, which is an effective way to solve the energy crisis we may face in the future. However, many potential industries, such as nuclear energy, hydrogen energy, bio-energy and new energy vehicles, are faced with problems involving engineering, materials, physics and other multidisciplinary coupling. More specifically, we must develop new nuclear energy, advanced hydrogen energy, bio-3D printing, batteries, energy storage and other technologies.

The purpose of this Topical Collection is to provide a research forum to report new energy technologies, as well as related materials to address existing energy challenges and assist in the development of super functional materials.

Topics of interest include but are not limited to, the studies mentioned above. Other relevant studies, such as energy harvesting devices, energy economics and policy, advanced energy materials, energy storage and application, geothermal energy, low carbon energy generation, nanoenergy, wave, tidal and ocean thermal energy, and wind energy technology, will also be considered, which could widen train thought of new energy. Research articles and reviews in this area of study are welcome.

We look forward to receiving your contributions.

Manuscript Submission Information:

Please visit the Submissions Guidelines page before submitting a manuscript. Submitted papers should be well formatted and use good English. Manuscripts should be submitted online through the online manuscript submission and editorial system. Additionally, please include a cover letter specifying that the manuscript is intended for the Topical Collection "New Energy Technology and Materials" when submitting it online. Manuscripts can be submitted until the submission deadline. All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal and will be listed together on the Topical Collection website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract can be sent to the Editorial Office neea@ukscip.com for announcement on this website.

The Article Processing Charge (APC) for publication in this open access journal is 300 USD. Authors who are unable to cover this cost or those who are invited to submit papers may be eligible for discounts or waivers.

Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a double-blind peer-review process.
