Topical Collection Information:

Dear Colleagues,

Law & Economics on Energies is a multidisciplinary approach, to analyze and compare the regulation and public policies on energy issues. In this way, it is possible to address key-points such as incentives, efficiency, institutional quality, etc. Attention to these aspects can help to improve the management and to obtain better results, avoiding problems and distortions such as free-riders, rent-seekers, clientelism (and crony-capitalism), cobra effect, crowding-out effect, etc. Also, it can help in the design and implementation of the energy transition that many Governments intend in accordance with the 2030 Agenda and the promotion of green energies. The aim of this collection is the promotion of the debate with diverse proposals, whose apparent conflict generates more complex knowledge, which promotes the topic.
