Special Issue Information:

Dear Colleagues,

The rapid growth of digital technologies has created complex, high-dimensional, and discrete data-driven problems across areas such as intelligent systems, smart decision-making, healthcare informatics, cybersecurity, industrial automation, financial analytics, and digital transformation. Traditional computational methods often face limitations when dealing with large search spaces, nonlinear relationships, uncertain environments, combinatorial structures, and real-time optimization requirements.

This Special Issue aims to provide a platform for researchers to present novel theoretical developments, methodological advances, and practical applications of metaheuristic algorithms, data mining techniques, neural networks, and discrete optimization models for solving complex problems in digital technology environments. Particular attention is given to hybrid and intelligent approaches that combine metaheuristics with machine learning, deep learning, logic mining, feature selection, rule extraction, clustering, classification, scheduling, network optimization, and decision support systems.

Submissions may include original research articles, review papers, case studies, and applied computational frameworks that demonstrate how metaheuristic-based methods can improve data analysis, knowledge discovery, prediction accuracy, optimization performance, model interpretability, and computational efficiency. The Special Issue welcomes both algorithmic innovation and real-world applications, especially studies that contribute to the development of reliable, scalable, and intelligent digital systems.
